Assistant Packhouse Manager (Technical) at Kakuzi PLC

Kakuzi PLC is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Packhouse Manager (Technical) for our Avocado Packhouse.

Reporting to the Packhouse Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining in optimum condition, all electrical equipment and other machinery and pumps used in the Packhouse.

The areas of responsibility will include upholding best machinery/ equipment maintenance standards in order to ensure uninterrupted processing of best quality Avocado, ensuring high standards of hygiene and   employee safety as well as supervision of technical staff.

Qualifications and person specifications

1. Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
2. Minimum of two years’ experience in maintaining Electrical equipment and other machinery
3. Familiarity with food quality and safety standards
4. Working knowledge of all relevant Statutory Requirements for operating a food processing facility.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Positive and self-motivated individual.
7. Be a person of integrity
8. knowledge of avocado processing quality standards will be an added advantage
