Associate Professor of Research Methods at Daystar University

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Earned a PhD in Research Methods, Pure Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field from an accredited university
• Proven experience in supervising postgraduate students to completion, includind atleast one doctoral candidate.
• Strong commitment to mentoring students and faculty in research methodologies.
• Evidence of ability to attract research funding and lead research projects.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, with a demonstratable record in research and publication
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement related to research
• A minimum of 48 publication points as a Senior Lecture, with at least 32 referred scholarly journals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of research capacity.
• Develop and implement innovative research strategies that align with the university's mission.
• Engage with academic community and participate in conferences and workshops.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
• Teach Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in research methods.
