Business Development Manager at Huawei Technologies

Report to:  Southern Africa Huawei Cloud Business Director

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, find leads/requirements and determine the best solution to match customers’ requirements with cloud products and solutions together.
• Keep running and expanding local eco-system and control the whole cloud sales cycle.
• Lead solution development efforts that best addresses customer needs
• Make timely adjustments to sales strategies by analyzing market conditions.
• Responsible for generating new business for Huawei Cloud by contributing to the development of market penetration strategies, gathering intelligence on potential clients, defining optimal business models and contributing to the design of go-to-market campaigns and the development of sales strategies.
• Identify potential clients in the target markets and gather intelligence on these clients to determine the best holistic strategies to approach and to convince them of Huawei cloud products and solutions value proposition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above, in IT/Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication /Computer Science or relevant major from a recognized University.
• 6+ years BD/Sales experience working in Public Cloud business like AWS/Azure/GCP and their certified channels
• Should have had experience in leading customers to migrate their cloud/IT projects.
• Should have customer base in the field of media/finance/SAP/education
• Must have used cloud products with knowledge on the basic operations of public cloud.
• Must have deep understanding on basic functions of Compute/Storage/Network products.
• Should be well versed with INCOTERMS and should also be familiar with importation process.
