Chinese Translator at Hilalium & Sons (Ur Home ) Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Translator to support departmental operations by translating documents and conversations between English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in Chinese translation and possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written and spoken content from English to Chinese and vice versa.
• Serve as the personal assistant to the Departmental Manager, providing direct support and collaboration.
• Assist in coordinating with team leaders to allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Represent the Departmental Manager in meetings when required.
• Accurately record minutes during departmental meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Departmental Manager within the scope of translation and administrative support.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Level 4 or Level 5 Chinese Language Certification (mandatory).
• A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Chinese Translator in a dynamic or fastpaced environment.
• Prior experience in supervisory roles or dealing with senior management.
• Previous experience in an FMCG factory environment will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and flexibility in handling tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency is a must.
• Immediate availability is required.
