Clinical Officer - Kisumu Al Imran
- Job Type Part Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 2 - 3 years
- Location Kisumu
- Job Field Medical / Healthcare
Assessment and Diagnosis
- Take patient histories
- Perform physical or psychological examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab tests, imaging, etc.)
- Identify health problems and conditions
Treatment and Management
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications or therapy (depending on licensure)
- Perform procedures (e.g., minor surgery, wound care, etc.)
- Manage chronic illnesses and monitor progress
Patient Education
- Explain diagnoses and treatment options
- Advise on lifestyle changes, preventive care, and medication adherence
- Empower patients to make informed health decisions
Care Coordination
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, therapists, pharmacists)
- Ensure continuity of care across services or settings
