Clinical Psychologist at AIC Kijabe Hospital

Reporting to the Head of Outpatient Department, the holder of the position will glorify God through provision of excellent clinical care to all patients attending Outpatient services at AIC Kijabe Hospital.

Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes

• Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from an institution recognized in Kenya
• Be recognized and registered by the relevant professional bodies
• Have in depth understanding of management of common mental health conditions both inpatient and outpatient care
• Diploma in clinical psychology
• A minimum of 1-year internship
• Must be capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader
• Should have good problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Should be an effective communicator with the ability to handle high level communication
• Should be result oriented with ability to deliver desired outcome
• Strong interpersonal skills including communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness
• Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages
• Must be aligned to the mission and vision of AIC Kijabe hospital
• Must be an honest person full of integrity in their personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities
