Commercial Building Electrician at Knight Frank Kenya

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Respond promptly to service requests and repair electrical systems efficiently, minimising downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, equipment, and fixtures.
• Handle contingency power systems, includinggenerators and UPS.
• Supervise electrical works carried out by contractors within the building.
• Inspect systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or non-compliance with codes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and operational records.
• Ensure full compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installation work.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including working from ladders/scaffolds and conduit 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid electrician’s license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electrical technician in a busy commercial building.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
