Communicate KCDMS performance by processing, packaging and disseminating a wide range of Information, success stories, learning pieces and reports among relevant stakeholders.
Technical Documentation and Reporting: work in collaboration with component leads, MEL team and Home office support team (Based in America) to edit, brand, and finalize KCDMS technical reports including but not limited to Bi-weeklies, Value chain analysis studies, quarterly reports, Annual report and work plan among others.
Knowledge management: Facilitate development of KCDMS Information, Education and Communications (IEC) materials and effective dissemination of the same through the most appropriate channels.
Maintain the USAID branding and Marking plan: provide guidance to teams internally and externally on how best to go about USAID branding on a need by need basis. Ensuring that the branding requirements are upheld.
Maintaining the KCDMS photo database/video library: Continuously highlight the KCDMS interventions through photography and video documentation by external teams (Home office photographers etc.)
Success story and learning pieces documentation: support finalization the learning pieces and success stories, and support dissemination to stakeholders.
Events Management: Support the component teams to plan and execute events both the KCDMS initiated/ industry driven events and guide on branding requirements.
Support activity efforts towards Behavior Change Communications.
Media and publicity support: be a liaison for KCDMS media engagements with the USAID and other stakeholders.
Social media support: consistently update/create any relevant activity pages following approval and work towards content generation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, PR, Mass Media or Information Science and 12 years of experience, Master's degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in

Ability to handle different communication formats.
Demonstrate high sensitivity and tolerance to cultural, religious, racial, national origin, age and gender issues.
Demonstrate discretion in the handling of sensitive and/or confidential issues.
Use technology tools effectively.
Execute the communication process in knowledge management.
