Customer Credit Risk Management Specialist at BASF East Africa Ltd

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit risk analyses and determine
• credit limits, payment terms, and risk mitigation
• Negotiate repayment plans and contracts
• Monitor customer, market, and industry risks
• Supervise automated customer management processes and decide on customer financing
• Review and resolve blocked orders
• Provide portfolio analysis to Business Units
• Coordinate collection activities, manage dispute resolution, and control dunning blocks
• Monitor doubtful debts, bad debts, and IFRS9 compliance
• Conduct customer visits for a better understanding

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Risk Management
• Strong knowledge of East African and Southern African countries, industries, and trends
• Fluency in English
• Highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced in Microsoft Office (SAP experience preferred)
