Data Solutions Lead at Isuzu East Africa (Isuzu EA)

This position leads the design and delivery of integrated enterprise data solutions, ensuring trusted, consistent and actionable data across legacy systems, digital platforms and emerging technologies. It oversees data architecture, integration, governance, platforms and business intelligence to improve operational efficiency, decision making, advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence readiness.

Reporting to the Information Technology (IT) Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Defining enterprise data architecture, standards and roadmaps that align with business strategy and eliminate silos.
• Integrating business systems and implementing the enterprise data lake to eliminate fragmentation and duplication.
• Designing scalable, secure and cost effective enterprise data platforms for reliable reporting and analytics.
• Establishing data governance, ownership and lifecycle standards that ensure quality, security, privacy and compliance.
• Delivering trusted business intelligence, data and analytics solutions that improve decision making, revenue, customer experience and efficiency.
• Building secure, reliable data foundations for AI and advanced analytics.
• Providing technical leadership and solution governance by enforcing architecture and technical standards, promoting reuse and preventing duplication.
• Managing stakeholders and vendors by partnering with teams, directing vendors, transferring knowledge and communicating technical decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• KCSE Mean Grade B+.
• Five (5) years in IT, with at least three (3) years specializing in Enterprise Data Solutions architecture and major data lake enterprise implementations.
• Relevant professional certification in data engineering, cloud computing, database management or data management
• Membership in a recognized professional body will be an added advantage
