• The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the availability of the organization's database systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server, performance optimization, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), security, and automation. The role works closely with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Ensure database availability, stability, and performance.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and configuration improvements.
• Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
• Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Monitor production database environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage database security, auditing, and access controls.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Automate database administration tasks using scripting tools and automation frameworks.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and database optimization.
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Always On Availability Groups
• Replication
• Clustering
• Log Shipping
• Experience with Backup & Recovery processes.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Agent.
• Experience with Azure SQL and/or cloud database environments.
• Knowledge of database security, encryption, auditing, and RBAC.
• Experience using PowerShell for database automation.
• B2+ or higher English level (conversational).
