Delphi Developer at Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services Ltd

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop and maintain the core Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), primarily using Delphi and SQL.
• Integrate the LIMS with laboratory equipment and other Cropnuts and third-party systems to streamline data exchange and workflow automation. 
• Design, optimise and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and queries to ensure data integrity, performance, and security of database systems. 
• Develop APIs and contribute to the design, development and support of other products and systems across the Cropnuts technology stack. 
• Implement business intelligence solutions to analyse data trends, identify insights, and support informed decision-making processes.
• Work closely with users and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, optimise workflows and design innovative solutions.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of our AgTech systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience in Delphi programming (or strong C# or Pascal experience and some exposure to Delphi).
• Sound understanding of relationship databases and strong SQL and Stored Procedure Programming skills.
• Experienced in developing and utilising RESTful APIs.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Excel, and Looker Studio.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) is helpful.
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Geo-databases is a plus.
• Passion for agriculture and technology.
• Experience: Senior (5+ years in software development)
