Background Information

• Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan.
• We are seeking to recruit a Driver (Distribution van/truck) to join our organization in Nairobi.

THE JOB

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate company distribution van/truck for product deliveries.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, transport, and offload products while maintaining product quality and preventing damage.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery from customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company transport policies, and health and safety requirements.
• Any other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications.

• Must have a valid driving licence with the appropriate class for commercial vehicles.
• At least two (2) years' of experience in driving
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
