Engineering Manager

Kwara is looking for a driven, experienced engineer manager to join our Engineering Team. You will be working across squads, ensuring our engineering team is functioning at it’s best capacity.

Your responsibilities
- Coordinate work of engineers with Product Manager
- Gauge progress of various engineering projects
- Communicate effectively across squads and departments
- Ensure strong engineering team and culture
- Determining the need for training and talent development.
- Hiring contractors and building teams
- Develop high-quality software features and architecture
Your qualifications
- If backend engineer, Ruby; If frontend engineer, React
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate with many other teams
- Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product
- Interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers
- Ability to give constructive criticism
