Engineering Manager at Kwara

Kwara is looking for a driven, experienced engineer manager to join our Engineering Team. You will be working across squads, ensuring our engineering team is functioning at it’s best capacity.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate work of engineers with Product Manager
• Gauge progress of various engineering projects
• Communicate effectively across squads and departments
• Ensure strong engineering team and culture
• Determining the need for training and talent development.
• Hiring contractors and building teams
• Develop high-quality software features and architecture

Your qualifications

• If backend engineer, Ruby; If frontend engineer, React
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate with many other teams
• Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product
• Interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers
• Ability to give constructive criticism
