Assist the EHS Officer, ensuring all accidents and incidents are recorded in the incident register, investigated, and follow up on corrective actions.
Assist the EHS officer in ensuring that all licenses and certificates, including environmental monitoring (Effluent analysis) required under EMCA 1999 and OSHA 2007, have been obtained on time.
Assist in logistical support for internal and external EHS audits and inspections, e.g., OSH, Fire Safety, Noise survey, and Environmental.
Provide administrative support for Safety & Health Committee meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up action to ensure they are closed.
Assist in EHS inductions of new staff, contractors, and visitors, and assist with ongoing EHS training programs.
Help in ensuring the updated EHS policies, procedures, and training records are available at branches and Foodscape line with company standards.
Monitor use of PPE across the branches and ensure that appropriate safety signage has been posted. Ensure proper disposal of solid waste by enforcing segregation of waste by ensuring all required materials are available.
Perform routine branch inspections and audits of first aid boxes, extinguishers, and EHS documents under the direction of the EHS Officer to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
