    Finance Graduate Intern

    We seek to fill the advertised position with an individual who is analytical, has good organizational skills, and is capable of working independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate should be highly professional, self-motivated and a proven high achiever.

    Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be based in Nairobi and will be responsible for the following amongst others:

    • Financial Management Support: Assist with recording accounting transactions on SAP Business One, maintaining organized financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
    • Payment Processing: Process and prepare payments according to approved budgets.
    • Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audit preparations by gathering necessary documentation.
    • Compliance: Understand and contribute to ensuring adherence to internal policies and budget restrictions.
    • Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
    • Procurement Support: Assist with maintaining procurement records and understanding proper procedures.
    • Logistical Support: Assist in coordinating and organizing program activities and meetings.

    Qualification, Skills and Experience:

    • A bachelor’s degree in business administration/ commerce.
    • ACCA/CPA- Minimum level Two (2).
    • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and Accounting software packages. – such as: SAP Business One will be an added advantage
    • Strong knowledge and experience of institutional donor funding requirements
    • Team player.
    • High integrity, initiative and highly organized.
    • Capacity to manage several tasks simultaneously, be flexible and be willing to assume a range of unanticipated assignments.
