    Finance Intern

    Job Description

    • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets for multiple portfolios.
    • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
    • Assist in tax compliance activities, including filing tax returns, maintaining tax records, and coordinating with external tax advisors.
    • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions, and prepare regular cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
    • Conduct financial analysis and research to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Support the implementation of financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial processes.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • Strong understanding of finance principles and accounting concepts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

    Relevant Experience:

    • ​Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably with exposure to multiple industries
