Finance Intern at Ando

Role

• As a Finance Intern at Ando Foods, you will work closely with our finance team to support various financial activities, including reconciliation of accounts, posting invoices, and assisting with P&L analysis. This role offers valuable exposure to real-world finance operations and the chance to contribute to the financial success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Reconciliation

• Assist in reconciling customer payments and rider dues.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of reconciliation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Invoice Posting

• Collaborate with the finance team to post invoices accurately into the accounting system.
• Verify invoice details, purchase orders, and payment terms.
• Ensure invoices are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.

Financial Analysis

• Support the finance team in analyzing financial data, including P&L statements.
• Assist in gathering and organizing financial information for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to financial insights and recommendations based on analysis.

Data Entry and Record-Keeping

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assist in data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Help in archiving financial documents in a systematic manner.

Ad-Hoc Support

• Provide support to the finance team on special projects and tasks as needed.
• Assist in financial research and reporting as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field.
• Proficiency in integrated financial management software, such as QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax rules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
