    Finance Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Standardize and improve relevant financial processes and systems whilst ensuring the group accounting principles are adhered to.
    • Help and support the business in achieving its targets, whilst ensuring compliance with its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
    • Execute broad accounting activities such as payroll reconciliations, AP, AR, prepayments, accruals, review fixed asset tables and depreciation postings, etc.
    • Perform monthly, quarterly, annual closing activities.
    • Responsible for Intercompany finance processes.
    • Develop and implement accounting approaches ensuring compliance to local GAAP/business practices whilst adhering to the group accounting principles and financial control framework.
    • Perform tax filings, and VAT returns.
    • Work together with HQ Treasury and Consolidation department.
    • Oversee timely and accurate billing and AR collections.
    • Perform monthly, quarterly, annual financial and management reporting, including variance analysis vs. budgets/forecasts & previous years.
    • Coordinate and support the budgeting/forecasting process in close collaboration with the Country Manager.
    • Coordinate, support and follow up of the annual audit processes.
    • Maintain and ensure strong internal controls.
    • Perform Inventory management, inbound flow, set-up and adjustment of product forecast.
    • Comply to existing Supply Chain procedures for planning and sourcing purposes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
    • At least 5 years work experience within goods distribution or related industry.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
