Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Group at Safal Group

Key responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes across Group entities.
• Coordinate budget submissions and challenge assumptions to ensure alignment with Group strategy.
• Consolidate and present Group budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend corrective actions.

Management Reporting & Performance Analytics

• Prepare monthly Group management reports with analysis against Budget, Rolling Estimates, Prior Year and Strategic Plans.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Conduct profitability, margin, working capital, and return-on-investment analyses.
• Provide actionable insights on financial and operational performance trends.

Business Performance Management

• Support quarterly and annual business reviews with management and business unit leadership.
• Identify areas requiring intervention.
• Benchmark entity performance against internal and external metrics.

Risk Management & Governance

• Identify financial and operational risks impacting business performance.
• Monitor compliance with Group financial policies and reporting standards.
• Escalate material financial, operational, and governance concerns to the Group CFO.

Strategic Support

• Support M&A evaluations, capital investment reviews, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
• Support ExComm and BRM reporting requirements.

Systems & Automation

• Drive reporting automation and process improvements.
• Leverage SAP, BI tools, AI-enabled analytics, and reporting technologies to improve efficiency and quality of insights.

Requirements

Qualifications required:

• Minimum academic qualification: CPA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent
• Qualifications as an added advantage: MBA
• Professional registration: Yes 

Experience required:

• General work experience (years): 12 to 15 years
• Post Qualification experience (years): 8-10 Years
• Industry: Manufacturing
