Graduate Design Intern at Sheffield Steel Systems

We seek to hire a Design Intern who will be tasked with the following responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Pre-sales design using AutoCAD to produce equipment layouts, MEP layouts and Elevations.
2. Developing Bill of quantities from Equipment layouts.
3. Developing MEP drawings in plans and elevations.
4. Developing Master Bill of quantities from MEP layouts.
5. Learn and apply developing 3D’s from sketches using Solid works, Archicad / 3D’s max rendering to images of various views for presentation.
6. Apply Graphic design using Adobe to produce marketing material.
7. Learning and Operating the CNC laser Cutting machine

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Candidate should have 1-2 years’ experience.
3. Experience using CAD Proficiency.
4. Ability to multitask and manage workload with minimal supervision
5. Strong analytical skills with heightened problem-solving ability
6. Very detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
