About Us: Biz Mkononi is seeking for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our creative team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

1.            Graphic Design:

•             Assist in creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various projects, including but not limited to, social media posts, website assets, presentations, marketing materials, and print collateral.

•             Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop creative solutions that meet project objectives and deadlines.

2.            Software Proficiency:

•             Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) to create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts.

3.            Concept Development:

•             Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for visual content that align with project goals and target audience.

4.            Typography and Layout:

•             Ensure that typography, layout, and composition are aesthetically pleasing and consistent with brand guidelines.

5.            Feedback Integration:

•             Actively engage with feedback from team members and clients to refine designs and deliver high-quality work.

6.            File Management:

•             Maintain organized files and folders for easy retrieval and collaboration with team members.

7.            Stay Updated on Design Trends:

•             Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

8.            Communication and Collaboration:

•             Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to ensure cohesive design executions.

Qualifications:

•             Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

•             Proficiency in design software

•             Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory.

•             Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative design concepts.

•             Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

•             Effective communication and collaboration skills.

•             Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•             Portfolio showcasing relevant design work (if available).
