    Group Product Head- Liquidity & Treasury Solutions

    As the Group Product Head in Liquidity and Account Solutions, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads end-to-end product life cycle for our Corporate, Public Sector and Institutional Clients. As a core leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, design, development and execution of liquidity structures and account solutions offerings across multiple markets. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get products off the ground, you will guide the successful launch of products, gather feedback and ensure top tier client experience. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the bank’s overall strategy while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Product Strategy:

    • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
    • Develop a rich understanding of the Liquidity & Escrow product suite and infrastructure, including drivers of revenue, capabilities vs industry/customer needs and current business priorities.
    • Conduct market research to understand competitive offerings and identify opportunities for innovation in liquidity products.
    • Coordinate product delivery and readiness to Commercial Banking Sales, Service and Implementation.

    Platform & Technology Leadership:

    • Lead the development and enhancement of liquidity products and structures in line with customers needs and market trends.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to implement emerging technologies and best practices ensuring a seamless customer experience.
    • Drive change readiness activities to ensure business and functional teams are fully ready ahead of go live.

    Processes & Innovation:

    • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of liquidity products, ensuring timely updates, pricing adjustments and compliance with regulatory changes.
    • Drive continuous innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, streamline operations and introduce new product features.

    Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure all liquidity structures and products comply with regulatory requirements and are aligned with industry best practices and security standards.
    • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
    • Establish robust program governance, create project plans and drives successful delivery of program milestones.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including technology, marketing, compliance, and operations teams, to deliver seamless and integrated card solutions.
    • Partner with external vendors, schemes, and fintech partners to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

    Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead and develop a team of product managers and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    • Mentor and guide the team in agile methodologies, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.

    Performance & Reporting:

    • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the products, including profitability, customer satisfaction, and transaction volumes.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership on product performance and market opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, Economic, or a related discipline.
    • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

    Experience:

    • 10+ years of experience in product management.
    • Knowledge of balance sheet, liquidity concepts and client franchises to manage activities within targets, strategy and framework.
    • Experience in developing treasury solutions/structures and treasury management systems for clients looking for centralized treasury, treasury digitalization etc.
    • Excellent understanding of liquidity management products and solutions such as cash sweeping, account rationalization, Notional Pooling, Interest Optimization etc.
    • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition and value management.
    • Proven ability to build strong partnership and credibility with technology, functional partners and senior management
