Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy (Cosmetology) Trainer at Ujuzi Manyattani Training Institute

Requirements:

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

• Diploma (KNQF Level 6) in relevant respective fields of study from a recognized Qualifications Awarding Institution (QAI);
• Been registered by the relevant professional body (where applicable);
• Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant fields;
• TVETA License

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: –

• Undertaking practical/theoretical training in areas of specialization in accordance with the occupational standards and curriculum;
• Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
• Setting and marking examination/assignment;
• Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
• Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work.
• Any other relevant assigned duties
