    Head of Marketing

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies across traditional trade, modern trade and export markets.
    • Drive market research, consumer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
    • Lead product launches, branding and promotional campaigns, including the launch of Pwani’s new cosmetics line.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, partners, media and other key stakeholders.
    • Lead digital marketing, media buying and integrated communications to maximise brand visibility and ROI.
    • Manage the marketing budget and use data-driven insights to optimise campaign performance.
    • Partner with Sales, R&D, Operations and other functions to align marketing with business objectives.
    • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team.
    • Represent the company externally and strengthen its brand reputation through effective corporate communications.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Membership with the MSK.
    • 15 years’ experience in senior commercial leadership within the FMCG or related industry, with exposure to traditional markets, modern trade, export and marketing.
    • Brand growth and market share growth.
    • Proven marketing leadership experience within the consumer goods industry.
