QUALIFICATIONS

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) minimum mean grade of C+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychology, Sociology, Education, Youth and Community work or equivalent Social Science from an accredited and recognized University;
• Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Sociology, Education, Youth and Community work or equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
• Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in an institution of higher learning or equivalent;
• Five(5) years’ progressive experience in student affairs, community engagement, or related areas in an institutions of higher learning ;
• Strong understanding of student development theories, diversity and inclusion principles, and best practices in higher education;
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Proven ability to foster collaborations and partnerships ;
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in implementing GOK Performance Contract;
• Experience in managing teams, budgets, and resources effectively;
• Have knowledge, skills and certification process on ISO 9001:2015 standards;
• Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
