ICT Officer at Premier Hospital

JOB PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this job is to undertake comprehensive firewall management, offering support to end user departments, troubleshooting, installing and repair both software and hardware for different user departments as required in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and in alignment with established protocols and the organization's technology objectives.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Assist in overseeing hospital technological infrastructures and operations to ensure they adhere to the company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all networks and computer related issues for best performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair of hardware, operating systems, applications, and CCTV.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties on items of ICT hardware, including the cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure that network access privileges, applications, data storage and regular backups are configured and maintained.
• Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems as well as identify security gaps and provide relevant solutions in consultation with the ICT Manager.
• Liaise with the end user to clarify, analyze, and resolve reported issues, delivering a high standards of ICT support.
• Manage and maintain Hospital website, Internet, Graphic designs, WAN in collaboration with other concerned areas.
• Maintain record/logs of repairs and fixes, maintenance schedule and up-to-date inventory of all ICT infrastructure equipment including licenses.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as ICT officer, with at least 1 year of experience in a busy hospital setting.
