The Government of Kenya through the state department of higher education has received financing from the African development bank (AfDB) toward the cost of the support to Higher Education Science Technology Phase Il project to improve relevance and equitable access to quality higher education, training and research in STEM for inclusive economic growth and employment in Kenya by 2030.
The Government, through Tom Mboya University (TMU), intends to apply part of the agreed amount from the financing towards scholarships in STEM.
The University invites applications for these scholarships from suitably qualified persons to Masters OR Ph.D Programmes in the following area
The scholarship package will cover tuition fees and research costs for the duration of study. The scholarships are open to all Kenyans under the age of 30 years who will also be engaged as Graduate Assistants OR Tutorial Fellows. Programmes of study funded by the scholarship are scheduled to commence in August, 2026.
