Information Technology Supervisor at G4S

Responsibilities:

Manage IT staff and resources

• Coordinate IT staff, including coaching, mentoring, setting and monitoring performance goals and objectives
• Provide overall direction and leadership of the Country’s IT strategy and plans in co-ordination with the local management and Regional IT team
• Continuously monitor and manage the Company’s IT systems, Applications and Networks to ensure business continuity and guaranteed IT uptime
• Collaborate with and maintain communications with executives and department heads in the organization to understand and resolve IT business needs

Manage information Security and Business continuity (IT Systems)

• Recommend policy formulation and enforce compliance of Group IT security policies to ensure information security
• Liaise with Group and regional IT to ensure group policies are implemented and ensure compliance

Managed IT Budget and cost

• Formulate Country Opex and Capex budgets and monitor performance against monthly actual performance.
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers to ensure optimum service delivery including SLA formulation and management.

IT Projects

• Liaise with senior management to identify IT projects required to improve business performance
• Manage Projects and ensure the company derive associated benefits in a cost effective way.

IT Standardization, Globalization and Innovations

• Represent regional and Global IT to implement IT Globalization and IT standardization strategy.
• Collaborate with Regional and Global IT leaders to borrow and implement good IT practices.
• Enforce regional and Group standards and controls and procedures.

Ideal candidate:

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field
• Good understanding on business processes and market legislation
• Professional certifications, Network Certification, Microsoft Systems administration, ITIl and Project management

Experience

• Over 4 years’ experience in a similar related position.
• Over 4 years in Systems administration and infrastructure administration in a large busy environment
• Good understanding in information Security
• Proven Project Management experience
• Experience in implementation of complex system
• Change Management

Technical Skills

• Systems management training
• Strong command in Project management
• Strong leadership, analytical and decision making skill
• Professional Certification/Qualification Microsoft Systems Administration, ITIL, Network.
• Google Productivity suite
• Behavioral Skills – Support
