Accountant Intern at InterIntel Technologies Limited

JOB PURPOSE:

The accountant will manage and run all Accounting activities as well as provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll.
• Take the lead in ensuring timely filing/payment of statutory obligations to ensure compliance with the government regulations.
• Making projections on cash inflows and cash outflows to ensure healthy working capital for the business's day-to-day running.
• Assist in the preparation of regular financial statements and accounts, such as profit and loss accounts.
• Performing account reconciliations
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis
• Any other duty that may be assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
• Basic experience in accounting role
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
• Must be well organized and poses good reporting skills
• Ability to work independently
