Provide technical assistance and support for both guests and staff with IT-related issues.
Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and hardware.
Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on basic IT operations, software applications, and hotel-specific systems.
Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment, including computers, printers, and peripherals. Keep track of usage, repairs, and replacements to ensure availability and functionality.
Assist hotel guests with IT services such as internet access, printing services, and troubleshooting in-room technology like TVs and telephones.
Ensure compliance with hotel IT security policies and procedures.
Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Be available for emergency IT support outside of regular working hours as needed. Respond promptly to critical issues to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in hospitality IT.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven 3 years of experience as an IT Assistant, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and hospitality-specific software (preferred).
