IT Officer at Volt Management Services Limited

• The person will provide both hardware & software support to the Group. They will maintain the computer networks of all types, providing technical support and ensuring the whole Database & Systems runs smoothly, as they monitor and maintain all computer systems, installing and configuring hardware and software as well as solve technical problems.

R&Rs

• Manage the Groups IT infrastructure including its IT Systems (HRMS, Time & attendance, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, etc).
• Managing IT inventory and controlling the IT budget allocation.
• Formulating and implementing the Groups IT policy and best practice manuals
• Setting and establishing timelines for IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages.
• Organizing workshops and training programs for staff on system improvement & usage.
• Identifying, testing, evaluating, and deploying new systems/technology.
• Conducting routine evaluations of network access and data security and preparing system reports for management.
• Establish a good working relationship with staff, vendors, and other customers.
• Engaging third party IT consultants, vendors, software developers and equipment Suppliers.
• Maintaining and monitoring IT systems and networks, and installing and configuring hardware and software
• Troubleshooting network and system issues and diagnosing software or hardware issues
• Creating documentation for technical support purposes
• Providing account/user support set up new users' accounts and profiles.
• To provide a link between the end users and vendors enabling the speedy resolution of issues encountered without taking the user away from the workplace.
• To work autonomously using own initiative and make decisions based on expertise and knowledge of Building based care processes, procedures, and Desired Experience.

Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• Certification in Database Management/Administration
• Minimum of 5 years Relevant Work Experience in IT field
• An all-rounded IT expert who can work under minimum supervision.
• Experience in managing Cloud/remote servers.
• Experience with Programming and Scripting Languages (Python, C++, Java, C#, or C) will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrable experience in ICT Project Management
• Good understanding of current IT security and Data protection standards
• A demonstrated passion for learning new technologies.
