Junior Mobile Application Developer at Medbook Kenya Limited

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working either as a team member or independently to deliver high-quality and maintainable software solutions.
• Evaluating and researching new options of similar technology and offering suggestions to improve processes.
• Working with UX Designers, Mobile Architects and other Developers to implement mobile solutions.
• Following application design patterns.
• Working on Social API integration, Core location APIs, Payment Gateway Integration, Google Maps,Geo-Location, Map Web Views and Push Notification Services.
• Ability to Optimize the applications for multi-device use e.g., iPhone, iPad, Tablet & Smartphones
• Knowledge of Chat Application Development will be an added advantage.
• Experience in developing native Android or iOS applications will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area.
• At least 1+ year(s) of relevant mobile development experience
• Must have 1+ year(s) knowledge of Ionic Angular Framework,
• Must have knowledge of Laravel (php).
• Strong relational database experience (MySQL, Maria DB).
• Familiarity with web frontend techniques (HTML, JS, CSS/SASS).
• Familiarity working with Restful APIs.
• Understanding of and experience with SQLite will be an advantage.
• Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.
