Laboratory Intern at Haleon

The Laboratory intern will be trained and charged with the testing of Raw materials and stability samples for finished products. This will involve the analytical testing of Raw materials & stability samples using written instructions to accurately prepare samples and conduct chemical and physical analysis as scheduled in collaboration with the lab manager. The purpose of stability & Raw material testing is to provide information on release of raw materials & products under stability studies.

Responsibilities

Carry out the following in accordance with approved procedures:

• Scheduling and planning testing
• Performing the analysis.
• Report writing.
• Notification of any stability failures.
• Safety health and environment protection.
• Writing reports and keeping all records and data.
• Proper use of laboratory equipment.
• Complying with quality and EHS standards for all activities carried out in the laboratory and Haleon in large

Requirements

• Candidate should be an undergraduate pursuing a degree in:
• Chemistry/Applied Chemistry /Pure Chemistry
• Industrial Chemistry
• Analytical Chemistry
• Familiarity with lab procedures through internship.
• Good oral communication skills in order to work effectively with colleagues.
• Attention to details.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Basic computing
