Earned PhD in Media Studies or related area (or a Master's degree in relevant area in exceptional cases with experience) from an accredited University.
Atleast three (3) years teaching experience at university level or in research.
Registered with the relevant professional body.
A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least 16 points should be from refered journal papers
Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
Evidence of active participation in school/departmental activites or demonstrated leadership in university activities
Demonstration of teaching abilities in specific areas of Radio Production, Programme Scripting, Digital and Analog Studio Operations, and General Broadcast Journalism Practice
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the University.
Engaging in curriculum and program review and development.
Ensuring consistent Christian behavior in line with the University's vision.
Evaluating students through continuous assessments and examinations.
Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university strategic goals.
Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurture.
Mobilizing resources and building bridges with industry.
Teaching and training of students in line with University policies, processes and procedures.
