Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. LECTURER, GRADE 12- REF/ACA/SoM/RS/11/2025
All applicants must possess:
- An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Physiotherapy; Occupational Therapy; Medical Social Work/Biomedical Sciences or in a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University.
- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy; Occupational Therapy; Public Health/Sociology/Social work or in a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy; Occupational Therapy; Medical Social Work/Sociology from a recognized institution
- Registered /Certified with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya, Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya and Kenya Medical Social Workers Association professional body
- Applicants who possess the following additional qualifications will have an added advantage:
- At least three (3) publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Teaching experience in an institution of higher learning
