Legal Intern at CarePay Ltd

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract management(storage, organization and maintenance of contracts in our digital tool)
• Assisting us keep our data processing register and meet other privacy law requirements
• Research to get to the bottom of all sorts of ‘legal’ questions coming up in relation to any part of the business (HR, IP, contracting, regulatory, etc.)
• Improving and creating template contracts (for our customers and employees)
• Protection of Intellectual Property (trademarks)
• Policies and other documents for data privacy and other regulatory compliance
• Corporate governance(board and shareholder resolutions)

‍EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Should have just completed or be in the process of completing their Law studies and have relevant work experience (interning at a law firm and or other organizations)
• Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent timemanagement skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Should be detail oriented
• Should have good research skills
• Must have the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to be creative and take an ‘outside the box’ approach
• Ability to show and take initiative with proactive attitude
