Manager, Investment Analysis at National Mining Corporation (NMC)

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of investment in a portfolio;
• Analyzing past and current financial data and performance;
• Preparing reports and projections based on analysis;
• Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation;
• Exploring investment opportunities;
• Establishing and evaluating profit plans;
• Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement;
• Analyzing and evaluating performance and productivity reports for presentation;
• Providing financial models and forecasting;
• Any other duty or responsibility as may be assigned by the CEO.

Requirement for Appointment

• A person shall be qualified for appointment as the Manager, Investment Analysis if that person meets the following minimum requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Professional qualification; CIFA or CFA or an equivalent qualification and membership in relevant body in good standing;
• At least ten (10) years’ work experience five (5) years of which must have been in management role;
• Management/Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
• Proficiency in computer application; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution.
