Logistics Analyst at Market Force

Role Responsibilities

• Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution from various regional hubs and 3PL companies
• Maintains database(s) of logistics information from FA’s , FO’s , FCO’s and RFM’s
• Tracks delivery flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles.
• Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.
• Reviews and analyzes transportation costs, inventory issues such as milk runs, on demand sourcing, and other fulfillment metrics.
• Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.
• Support team on any internal projects to further develop the analytics practice including implementation of analytical tools, techniques, processes, and frameworks

Skills, experience and specifications for this role

• Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in relevant field (Supply Chain Management business information systems, computer science, economics, statistics )
• 2-3 years’ Data Analysis experience – open to industry and background
• Quantitatively savvy with ability to interpret data to draw conclusions
• Strong experience of PowerBI, SQL and Excel (creating queries, data extraction and data analysis)
• Result-oriented with the ability to work within strict time constraints while balancing multiple projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• The ability to query and analyse complex data sets to develop actionable insights that enable the optimization of Logistics
