    Marketing Supervisor

    About the job

    • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Supervisor to oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing activities that strengthen the company's brands, increase market visibility, and support sales growth.
    • The successful candidate will coordinate marketing campaigns, brand activities, promotional materials, showroom marketing initiatives, market research, and digital marketing activities while working closely with Sales, Showroom, Product, and other internal teams to ensure consistent brand execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Marketing Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the company's overall business and sales objectives.
    • Support the development of annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing strategies and activity plans.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and opportunities for business growth.
    • Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements based on market feedback and business results.

    Brand Management & Promotion

    • Ensure consistent implementation of company brand standards across showrooms, promotional materials, digital platforms, and other customer touchpoints.
    • Plan and coordinate brand promotion activities, product launches, campaigns, exhibitions, events, and promotional activities.
    • Develop and manage marketing materials, including brochures, catalogues, posters, banners, displays, and other promotional content.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure marketing materials are delivered accurately and on time.

    Digital & Social Media Marketing

    • Manage and coordinate the company's social media and digital marketing activities.
    • Develop and coordinate engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
    • Monitor digital campaign performance, engagement, reach, and lead generation.
    • Coordinate with graphic designers, content creators, photographers, and external agencies where required.
    • Ensure all digital content is consistent with company brand guidelines.

    Showroom & Trade Marketing

    • Coordinate marketing activities across company showrooms and retail outlets.
    • Develop and implement showroom promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing activities.
    • Ensure proper placement and availability of marketing and point-of-sale materials.
    • Conduct regular showroom checks to assess brand presentation, promotional displays, and marketing execution.
    • Work closely with Sales and Showroom teams to identify local marketing opportunities and increase customer traffic and sales.

    Market Research & Competitor Analysis

    • Conduct regular market research to understand customer preferences, market trends, pricing, competitors, and product positioning.
    • Monitor competitor marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and market activities.
    • Prepare market intelligence reports and provide recommendations to management.
    • Collect and analyze customer and market feedback to support marketing and product decisions.

    Campaign & Event Management

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns, exhibitions, trade fairs, product launches, corporate events, and promotional activities.
    • Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, agencies, branding materials, and budgets.
    • Track campaign results and prepare post-campaign performance reports.
    • Ensure all marketing activities are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.

    Marketing Budget & Supplier Management

    • Prepare and monitor marketing activity budgets.
    • Track marketing expenditure and ensure effective utilization of allocated budgets.
    • Source and coordinate with advertising agencies, printers, media companies, event organizers, designers, and other marketing suppliers.
    • Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate costs where necessary, and ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

    Sales & Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Work closely with Sales, Showroom, Product, Procurement, and other departments to align marketing activities with business needs.
    • Provide marketing support for new product launches and sales campaigns.
    • Coordinate with the Sales team to develop promotional activities that generate leads and support revenue growth.
    • Ensure effective communication between the Marketing Department and other business functions.

    Marketing Reporting & Performance Management

    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing activity reports.
    • Track key marketing performance indicators, including campaign reach, engagement, leads, showroom traffic, and promotional effectiveness.
    • Analyze marketing results and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
    • Maintain proper records of marketing activities, materials, suppliers, budgets, and campaign results.

    Team Supervision & Development

    • Supervise and coordinate marketing team members and support staff.
    • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of marketing activities.
    • Train and develop team members to improve marketing capabilities and execution standards.
    • Promote teamwork, accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement within the marketing function.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Professional qualifications in marketing such as CIM or equivalent will be an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
    • Experience in retail, building materials, ceramics, construction, FMCG, or a related industry is highly preferred.
    • Experience in showroom, trade marketing, brand management, digital marketing, and promotional campaigns will be an added advantage.

    Technical & Professional Skills

    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and customer engagement.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Good understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms.
    • Ability to analyze marketing data and prepare professional reports.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong creativity and ability to develop practical marketing solutions.
