Job Specifications

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C- (Minus) or D (Plain) with a certificate in Mechanical Engineering (KNEC). 
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (KNEC) from an accredited institution.
• Certificate in Computer applications. 
• A valid certificate of good conduct.
• Knowledge of Occupation Health and Safety. 
• At least two (2) years’ experience preferably from a learning institution.
• Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Responsibilities 

• Providing technical support to the trainers and trainees.
• Maintaining workshop inventories by receiving, issuing tools and materials in the workshop 
• Carrying out routine maintenance of machines and equipment 
• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and workshop facilities.
• Preparing maintenance schedule for all the workshop equipment
• Observing and ensuring health and safety procedures are practiced and enforced in the workshop.
• Ensuring cleanliness of machines/equipment and orderly work areas
