    Media Manager - Africa

    The Media Manager Africa is the one who leads the strategy and planning of top of the funnel investment in 7 countries of the region (MA, TN, KE, CI, UG, GH and NG) The person will have a strong technical, analytical, and media background – with a hunger to make the Glovo brand grow – and will be part of a highly data-driven and results-focused team.     BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

    • Define the top of the funnel media strategy (TV, OOH, Radio, etc.) and shape the ATL media playbook for all of the countries in the region, in alignment with the Regional Marketing Director.
    • Build and execute ATL media plans for all of the countries in the region, in alignment with the Marketing Managers.
    • Lead the deal with local agencies; build good relationships, ensure flawless execution and tracking, and achieve solid negotiations.
    • Work alongside the global brand team and the local marketing teams on brand and media development projects.

    YOU HAVE:

    • Have 3-5 years of media planning experience in a top-tier media agency or FMCG / e-commerce company.
    • Have a deep understanding of ATL media channels, being comfortable tracking and reporting on established performance marketing KPIs
    • Have an analytical mindset and comfortable dealing with high growth and complex business challenges.
    • Experience working in Nigeria or Kenya, as well as knowledge of the sub-saharan region in general.
    • Proven track record defining investment strategy and executing integrated ATL media campaigns, and creating media plans from scratch, ideally in an FMCG company
    • Proven track record investing large TV budgets, either from the company or agency side 
    • Proven track record of managing relationships with agencies, and getting on-time delivery and reliable reporting and information from their side..
    • Proven track record of achieving solid negotiations with agencies
    • Proficient in English.
