Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Assistant IT Project Manager at Software Dynamics

Software Dynamics, a leading Pan African system integration company and Microsoft Solutions Partner seeks a highly motivated and organized Assistant IT Project Manager to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions for our clients across Africa.

Requirements:

• You possess 1-3 years of experience working within an ERP software implementation company, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• You have a strong understanding of core ERP functionalities such as finance, supply chain management, and manufacturing.
• You are a natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring project success.
• You excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
• You possess exceptional presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the Dynamics 365 ERP implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Support in conducting client workshops and interviews to understand their business needs and map them to Dynamics 365 functionalities.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage project documentation, including user stories, test plans, and training materials.
• Liaise with technical leads, developers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Effectively communicate project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in user training sessions and provide basic technical support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) certification is a plus. 
• Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience working within an ERP implementation team environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
