Mold Technician at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

Our client, a plastic company based in Nairobi is seeking to employ a Mold Technician.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Set up and start-up injection molding machines.
2. Document mold changes and machine adjustments.
3. Troubleshoot equipment or tooling issues during production.
4. Inspect items to ensure a consistent level of quality.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications & skills

1. Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. At least two years of working experience as a mold technician in a plastic company.
3. Must have knowledge of plastic injection and blow machines.
4. Must have worked with plastic molds before.
5. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace all components.
