Job Description

The Delivery rider will pick up and drop off food items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

To succeed as a Delivery rider, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

1. Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner to their preferred pickup spot
2. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
3. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
4. Accepting payments for delivered items
5. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
6. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
7. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
8. Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
9. Able to operate for a long period of time

Delivery Driver Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Valid motorbike riders' license
3. Clean riding record
4. Prior experience is necessary
5. Strong time management and customer service skills
6. Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
7. Attention to detail
8. Fluent in English and Kiswahili
