Role Summary: -

Responsible for ensuring the 3PL Onboarding, Performance and Operational expectations. This position is the primary liaison between the 3PL, Marketplace Team and Ominibiz. Works with the 3PL to ensure that customer orders are appropriately prioritized and fulfilled on time & daily basis. This role also facilitates the continuous improvement processes at the 3PL; 3PL Onboarding, development and ensure that there are regular performance reviews with the 3PL’s, and the required action plans are created and executed to closure.

KRA: -

• Work closely with the demand team to ensure an understanding of their strategic ambitions and promoting the company role in their achievement of those ambitions
• Analyze short to medium term issues impacting supply health in Marketplace.
• This includes driver segmentation, supply performance optimization, market scans and experimentation
• Scope advanced statistical analyses and predictive modelling in collaboration with the relevant teams
• Design efficient incentive and pricing structures to drive marketplace growth and work with cross-functional teams to execute
• Forecast incentive spend and other supply growth initiatives for weekly, monthly and quarterly planning cycles
• Identify trends and suggest ways of managing performance improvement where necessary.
• Drives performance reviews with 3PL and ensures they have appropriate action plans
• Ensure the 3PL is managing their Daily Operations in alignment with SLA.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of COD & 3PL invoice payment.
• Ensures the 3PL is compliant with the Omnibiz financial control systems.
• Onboard, trained, develop, and manage the 3PL partners to ensure individual and company success.
• Lead the Carrier and Operations team responsible for matching loads, scheduling shipments, ensuring on time pick-up and delivery, and maintaining positive relationships with carriers.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or master’s degree in a related field preferred
• 4/5 years of relevant work experience in marketplace operations, consulting or ex-founder of client focussed start up
• Strong Domain Knowledge in Logistics, Supply chain and Operations.
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions
• Experience working on a global scale in building and deployment of Solutions highly preferred
• Experience leading and influencing teams that are responsible for managing business operations
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
• Excellent PowerPoint and ability to express complex solutions in a concise manner.
