Operations Supervisor – Turkwell at Gulf Energy

JOB PURPOSE

• The Site Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the water loading facility, ensuring continuity of water supply and effective coordination of associated tanker loading operations.
• The position provides Company oversight of site operations, contracted personnel, maintenance contractors and transporter activities to ensure that required water volumes are loaded and dispatched safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Technical, Operations, Logistics or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience for Diploma holders or 7 years' relevant experience for Certificate holders in high-throughput, operationally intensive environments involving significant daily volumes, equipment operation, contractor supervision and/or vehicle movements.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising or coordinating operational and/or maintenance contractors.
• Basic technical understanding of mechanical, electrical or process equipment sufficient to monitor equipment performance, understand operating parameters and identify issues requiring specialist intervention.
• Experience working in environments involving multiple contractors, vehicle movements, daily operational targets and time-critical service requirements.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing or similar high-throughput operations will be an advantage, particularly where the role involved fleet coordination, dispatch planning, contractor coordination, service delivery and operational reporting.
• A degree or higher technical qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
