Senior Database Administrator - Oracleis responsible for the installation and ongoing support, which includesexecution and validation of patches, upgrades and other relative maintenance.Responsible for the support of Oracle database services to ensure thehighest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security andperformance required by the business systems.

Required Skills & Experience
AcademicQualifications

• Bachelor’sdegree in Computer/Information Science/Technology.

Experience

• 4to 6 years of professional experience administering Oracle Database.
• StrongOracle Database Administration experience.
• Experienceusing Oracle Data Guard / Fast Start Failover
• Knowledgeor experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB).
• Knowledgeor experience with Oracle GoldenGate
• Experienceof managing multiple RDBMS on large systems.
• Experienceof SQL Server is desirable
• OracleCertification, preferably OCP.
• Exposureof MySQL & Postgre SQL.
• Familiaritywith database design, documentation and coding.
• Previousexperience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools.
• Familiaritywith programming languages API.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring availabilityand performance of the databases that support the system.
• Responsible for providing trendanalysis to the service management team to enable them to make informeddecisions regarding resource management.
• Responsible for improvement andmaintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.

• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniquesand backup data.
• Provide proactive and reactive datamanagement support and training to users.
• Determine, enforce and documentdatabase policies, procedures and standards.
• Perform tests and evaluations regularlyto ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implementchanges and apply new patches and versions when required.
