Portfolio Associate at Pezesha

We are looking for a Portfolio Associate who will be responsible for partner engagement, portfolio retention, portfolio analysis and reporting on a daily basis.

Primary responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day of assigned key accounts portfolio monitoring, performance and analysis
• Do follow ups with contact persons from the partner side and ensure all matters are addressed on time and feedback loop closed to ensure portfolio growth and relationship building
• Come up with new strategies and ideas to grow the portfolio and be instrumental in the implementation to ensure portfolio optimisation
• Analyse customer behavior and loan data to uncover patterns, trends and insights that can be used to enhance the efficient delivery of the focus metric target and uncover predictive patterns
• Create and continuously refine experiment design to achieve the stated experiment objectives
• Use the predictive patterns and experiment results to construct a systematic direction for the assigned portfolio and design, conduct and continuously A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features
• Work closely with the data, finance and tech team to drive seamless integration of new solutions to the assigned portfolio
• Making daily calls to existing customers about the loan product to drive the uptake and retention rate of the assigned portfolio (s)
• Conduct and document all customer feedback covering new and existing borrowers to ensure portfolio uptake
• Collate all results above into a consistent weekly audit and report for the operations and management team

Your skills and experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant operations experience with at least 1 year experience as a data analyst is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL writing for data extraction as well as R for data analysis
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent knowledge of the financial inclusion industry (microfinance, SME banking, banking, asset finance/leasing, fintech, payments, etc.)
• Finance experience is an added advantage
