    Principal Business Analyst

    Duties and Responsibilities will entail:

    • Spearheading negotiations with new and existing licensees for 10% free Carried interest;
    • Spearheading development of legal instruments for management of partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions
    • Preparing of agreement policies and structural management details for partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
    • Analyzing the benefits and risks involved in partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and advise management accordingly.
    • Advising management on the best strategies to use in partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
    • Exploring suitable partnerships and alliances for the Corporation.
    • Providing guidance and advising on contractual agreements for mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions and special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for strategic minerals; and
    • Preparing work plan and budgets for approval.

    Job Specification

    For appointment to this cadre, an officer must have: -

    • A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role;
    • Bachelor’s degree in law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce, Business Administration, Mineral Economics, or its equivalent qualifications;
    • Masters degree in Law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce, Business Administration, Mineral Economics or its equivalent qualifications;
    • Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Membership of the relevant professional institution and in good standing;
    • Certificate in investment and finance from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in computer applications; and
    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
